RUGBY world cup updates

France won New Zealand 20-18 in the knockout stage.
The forward pass from French full-back Damien Traille to fly-half Frederic Michalak led to the winning try, that cost NZ to be out of world cup. (And all Singaporeans shout- Referee KAYU!)
As I was watching this match, it reminded me of: 1999 All Blacks got kicked out by France in the Rugby World Cup. (Tough luck or Dejavu?)
Nonetheless, I am awed (huge understatement!) by the world class rugby both teams played.
NZ displayed great sportsmanship despite their loss.
France, on the other hand, got what they deserved by pulling out from 0-13 to 20-18. It was their team discipline that got them through.
That aside, I have not mentioned this, I would have loved to see a Aus VS NZ Rugby World Cup Finals.
4 years later perhaps.
