Boys

I have not dedicated a post on this topic, because I don’t know my stand on it. I don’t hate them, yet I don’t love them. (He loves women, we all know that.)

Edmund is ignoring me after I turned him down (three times) over being his girlfriend. I don’t know if it is him playing the guilty trick on me, it is certainly not working.

I am in the same civics class as someone who once told me over msn that he likes me. I think I am playing a good role in being a classmate and only that. I am glad he was mature enough not to bring it up again.

A certain schoolmate got my number and didn’t dare message me.

There was this someone late last year, whom I had a crush on, and I would rush off after school to meet him. We wouldn’t specially arrange a time or a place, but we end up sitting together all the time anyway. The pretty lady behind the counter knows us. Then I kinda ignored him totally after realising what a cassanova he was. We met up recently and I realised the feelings back then was two-way and not on my half only. How stupid.

Of course, P cannot be left out of this.

My two cents worth is that, I think it is great and absolutely fine for teenagers to go through this crazy feeling of liking someone. It is perfectly normal. And what is teenagehood without all the butterflies in the stomach when someone says he/she likes you. What is teenagehood without the boys winning the attention of the girls during prom; and the girls sending signals so subtle to the guy, that even when the entire girl gang knows, the guy still doesn’t.

Just don’t get your fingers burnt. (I remembered those wise words.)

If there is a young boy who has a heart throb over me, I pray that he gets over it.

There isn’t much about my face to like. There isn’t much about me to win you over- to make you ask me out for dates till the day we die by the fireplace. Charmaine Harn may be a better choice.

Unless, of course, you have the power to serenade me with a rugby ball. I am joking.
